Operation principle
The pure steam received from the first stage of evaporation, is used as the heating-up steam for the fol-lowing stage (The heating-up steam for the first stage - steam from a boiler). The cleared water arriving in a column, evaporates. Distilled water is produced after heating-up and cooling, thus steam and cooling water are saved.
Structure
- The special structure of heat exchangers provides safe division of pure steam and the distilled water therefore the distilled water doesn't contact with cooling water that prevents their mutual pollution and corresponds to requirements of GMP, FDA and EU.
- All parts contacting to water supply, pure steam and WFI are made of AISI316L stainless steel, sealing ma-terial: teflon or other hygienic material.
- Other parts are made of AISI304 stainless steel with heat insulation.
- All critical parts electro polished after a mechanical polishing that allows to exclude pipes pollution.
- All welded seams are welded by argon that increases level of hygiene of installation.
- The hermetic structure mainly connected by flanges that prevents leakage;
- For cooling installation with five columns a small amount of cooling water is used.
- Use of advanced technologies allows to save up to 20 % of the electric power and up to 15 % of cooling water.
- Automatic PLC control of allows to use the installation simple and stable.
- As an option, it is possible to produce pure steam at this installation.
